- Cells treated with HU or untreated were analysed for RPA or PCNA containing foci by indirect immunofluorescence using confocal or STED microscopy. The images were restored using the CMLE algorithm and rendered in 3D using SVI's Huygens software, which was also used to count the objects. The average number of objects per μ m3 (n = 3-5) and the range of values found are given for a garbage threshold volume (below which size objects are not counted) of 5 voxels (corresponding to 0.0003 μ m3).
