Mutation of lysine residue 917 does not affect the subcellular localization of PDGFRα. (a) Tet-inducible PAE cells were grown without doxycycline (-Dox) or treated with doxycycline (+ Dox) to induce the expression of WT or K917R mutant PDGFRα, and then stimulated, or not, with 20 ng/ml PDGF-AA for 45 min, fixed and stained with DAPI and primary antibodies against PDGFRα and the Golgi marker GM130, followed by fluorescent secondary antibodies. (b, c) Tet-inducible PAE cells were induced to express WT or K917R mutant PDGFRα, followed by staining with DAPI and with antibodies against PDGFRα, and markers for early (EEA1; b) and late (Rab7; c) endosomes
